Human Kindness and Pink Ribbons - What do they mean?

Human Kindness. Many things have changed in our world since September 11th, but one thing we cannot change is our kindness. Reaching out to help those who will never even know our name is a beautiful example of this selfless act. What if I told you I was going to walk 60 miles in 3 days to raise money and awareness for breast cancer? Would you support me?

A Pink Ribbon is associated with breast cancer. Fact: 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Every 3 minutes a new case is diagnosed and every 13 minutes a life is lost to this awful disease. These are staggering facts with a frightening toll. The good news is that there is something we can do about it.
